However, when you consider our amazing locations plus our Civil Ceremonies Licence which allows you and your guests to enjoy the whole of your wedding celebration (and night) at one venue, the idea becomes much more appealing.
We’re flexible too. We can offer a whole range of packages to suit your wants and needs. We can cater for a large range of party sizes, as well as a variety of budgets. Our overriding priority is for you to enjoy the big day as much as possible. And of course, one of the main benefits of booking your wedding with YHA is the brilliant accommodation we can provide, removing much of the hassle that the logistics of planning a wedding can create.
Wedding venues
YHA Okehampton Bracken Tor
Nestled within woodlands on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, YHA Okehampton Bracken Tor is set within four acres of private, landscaped grounds. Ideally situated within walking distance of Okehampton town, this venue is great for those looking for something special.
The hostel’s function room is situated in the lower part of the gardens. This open plan space has seating for up to 100 people plus another 50 people dancing. There is an outdoor ceremony area and paved terrace with stunning views across the north Devon countryside.
You can book catering at the hostel and enjoy drinks at the bar. Accommodation is included for up to 76 people and a minibus shuttle service can be provided to YHA Okehampton for day visitors and additional evening guests.
