How to get here

By car: The only road access to YHA Land's End is via Kelynack on the B3306. Turn off the B3306 at Kelynack and follow the road through the farmyard and past the "unsuitable for motors" sign – although narrow, the tarmac road is in good condition up to the hostel entrance. Follow this road without making any further turns until you reach the gate with "Letcha Vean", YHA and Hostelling International signs.

By foot from St Just: From the centre of St Just where the main bus stop is for buses from Penzance, Land’s End and St Ives. Walk past the library away from the town centre along Market Street, turn left following Bosorne Terrace past a chapel and recreation ground, turn right down narrow lane passing cottages and old well, where the lane ends turn right down a footpath following signs for YHA. This last section is not suitable for suitcases on wheels – if in doubt, call a taxi from St Just.

By foot from the coast path: If you're heading north on the coast path from Land’s End, follow signs to YHA from the south side of Porth Nanven or via Letcha Farm from Gribba Point. If heading south on the coast path, follow the road upwards in the Cot Valley (the opposite direction to coast path which follows the same road down the Cot Valley) and turn right onto the small track at Rosewell Cottage. Cross the stream and then follow YHA signs.

By bus: The nearest bus station is in St Just, 1.5 miles away. Catch the First Kernow 17 from Penzance or Pendeen or the Community Bus 7 from Land’s End or Zennor. In the summer, open top buses operate from St Ives.

By train: The nearest rail station is Penzance, 8.5 miles away.
