Board of Trustees

YHA currently has 15 Trustees, each serving a maximum of two terms of four years.

Trustees are elected by YHA members. Their role is to determine policy, ensure the proper management of YHA and provide effective guidance and leadership to the Chief Executive and Executive Team and YHA employees.

Applications are now open for the Board of Trustees 2025/26.

Becoming a Trustee is both deeply rewarding and genuinely enjoyable. This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of YHA — a charity dedicated to connecting people with each other, the outdoors nature and heritage.
