YHA Leominster was originally part of the Old Priory Monastic Complex, which dates back to 1123. The property offers comfortable and quality accommodation for everyone to enjoy. A superb spot for exploring the picturesque countryside.

The kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: grill, kettle, microwave, oven, refrigerator, stove, toaster.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery for 30 people, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: bin bags, cloths, paper towels, soap, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 27 people across 5 tables. Extra seating can be arranged if needed.

Two highchairs are available.

Lounge

The lounge area is located in the dining room on the ground floor and seats up to 17 people across 5 sofas.

There is a separate lounge on the first floor, with three comfy sofas and a chair. There is a shelf full of books and a flat screen TV.

Bathrooms

Across the entire building there is a total of five bathrooms including an accessible en-suite bathroom.

A former workhouse of a Benedictine Monastery dating back to the 11th Century, YHA Leominster is now a well-equipped hostel. Come and stay to embrace the history of the area. Leominster is situated in the Marches, the disputed borderlands between Wales and England, fought over for centuries.

We are at the heart of the Black and White Villages, whose style dates back to Tudor times. The walking and cycling in the area is excellent and there are several National Trust properties nearby, along with museums, visitor centres and beautiful gardens.
