A striking National Trust country house set in 60 acres of its own grounds, YHA Ravenstor offers quality accommodation with original features including a grand wooden staircase and log burner. This property is perfect for some fresh country air in the great outdoors.

Where you'll sleep

Across the entire building there is a total of 15 bedrooms.

First floor

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 2 people. It includes 1 set of bunk beds.

Two rooms that sleep up to 2 people each. They include 1 set of bunk beds.

Four rooms that sleep up to 4 people each. They include 2 sets of bunk beds.

Five rooms that sleep up to 6 people each. They include 3 sets of bunk beds.

Second floor

One room that sleeps up to 3 people. It includes 1 set of bunk beds and a single bed.

One room that sleeps up to 5 people. It includes 2 single beds and a high sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath.

One room that sleeps up to 7 people. It includes 2 sets of bunk beds and 3 single beds.

A cot is available.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: grill, iron and board, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, oven, refrigerator, stove, toaster.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery for 67 people, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 50 people around tables of 2 and 4 people. The separate classroom can be used as additional dining space, with seating for up to 30 people.

A highchair is available.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 14 people. There are 2 comfy sofas, 10 chairs and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. You can relax by the open fire after a day of exploring.

There is a separate games room on the basement floor.

Across the entire building there is a total of six bathrooms.

Toilet paper is provided and hand soap is available next to all sinks.

Outdoors

Outside is a large garden.

The garden is not enclosed.

Unlimited breakfast at YHA Ravenstor

Enjoy all you can eat for breakfast including sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes and beans. Continental options include fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and pastries. Reception opening hours: From 07:30 - 10:00 and 17:00 - 22:00.

Food and drink: Breakfast is served to guests daily from 07:30 – 09:00. Pizza's are also available from 17:00 - 20:00.

Licensed bar: This hostel has a licensed bar offering a range of alcohol and soft drinks. It is not possible for guests to bring their own alcohol, except when hiring the whole hostel through YHA Exclusive Hire.
