If relaxed and comfortable accommodation at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is what you desire, then look no further than YHA Snowdon Ranger. A rural retreat just a stone’s throw from the beautiful lake shore of Llyn Cwellyn, the hostel is ideal for those looking for a walking or hiking holiday.
The hostel is set in an area steeped in the culture of Wales with the village of Beddgelert, Sygun Copper Mine, Caernarfon Castle and the Welsh Highland Railway all nearby. From the front door of the hostel, it's a short walk to the start of the Snowdon Ranger Path up to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) – it’s one of the easier routes and is suitable for most ability levels. In the summer months, why not take a swim in the lake from our own beach?
