Originally built in 1903 under the name Bovey Combe, it was opened as YHA Beer in 1961. This attractive country house was finished in honey-coloured stone which sets the building apart from most.
Manager recommends: Take a walk along the cliffs to Branscombe for a cream tea, or local cider… and some stunning views. Try fossil hunting in Lyme Regis or Charmouth, or stroll down to Beer beach and hire a wooden boat from the beach.
