The kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: fridge/freezer, clothes airer, coffee maker, grill, iron and board, 2 kettles, microwave, 2 ovens, refrigerator, stove, toaster, wood stove.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, cloths, paper towels, sponges, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 42 people. There are 10 tables and chairs, which can be arranged to your preference, and beautiful views onto the garden.

A highchair is available.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 28 people. There are leather sofas and armchairs, plus a good selection of books, magazines and a wood-burning stove.

On the slopes of the Cader Idris mountain range and set in its own wooded ravine, YHA Kings offers excellent accommodation for families and groups. This part of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is a fantastic retreat for fans of outdoor pursuits with plenty of scenery to take your breath away.

There's a full range of shops and amenities 5 miles away in Dolgellau. You'll also be located close to the world-class mountain bike centre at Coed-y-Brenin, which is brilliant for walks and trail running. Plus the famous Port Meirion village and the National White Water Rafting Centre near Lake Bala, a must for watersports enthusiasts.

Sleeping arrangements

Most of our bedrooms are dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. We always try to allocate bedrooms close together and will never ask your group to share bedrooms with anyone not in your group.

Upgrades are available for sole use of an area, floor or the entire place.

Shared spaces

With a spacious lounge and dining room, groups can make themselves at home. Free WiFi is available but there is no TV or mobile phone signal, making this hostel a fantastic 'get away from it all' location!

Group catering

With tasty breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, groups are sure to find something delicious to eat at YHA Kings.
