Did you know that we have a wide range of dog-friendly accommodation and facilities? You can bring your four-legged friends to stay with you at selected Exclusive Hire properties and many of our Camping & Cabins sites. Dogs are welcome in all YHA cafés too, so you can look forward to light bites accompanied by puppy dog eyes from beneath the table.
Take a look at these dog-friendly places to stay. With dog-friendly accommodation this comfortable, you’ll be happy to let sleeping dogs lie… in.
Exclusive Hire
If you're taking the whole hostel to yourself on Exclusive Hire, it costs £50 per dog for the duration of your stay. Simply add a dog to your booking at the checkout and bring them along with you.

YHA Ninebanks
A stay in this former mineworkers' property at the top of the North Pennines National Landscape means beautiful walks through wild moorland. Take a hike to the Allendale chimneys which sit high on the fells – you can still see inside the old brick-built flues. This place is also close to Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland National Park.
YHA Okehampton Bracken Tor
Nestled within woodlands on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, YHA Okehampton Bracken Tor is set within four acres of landscaped grounds. Ideally situated within walking distance of Okehampton town, with direct access to Dartmoor and the granite way cycle path, the venue is perfect for those looking for a relaxing retreat.

YHA Street
One of our most popular dog-friendly accommodation spots is YHA Street. This quirky and cute Swiss-style wooden chalet is paw-fectly positioned for memorable walkies. The 525ft conical hill of Glastonbury Tor is 4 miles away. Dogs are welcome at this National Trust landmark and (according to Pagan belief) home of the King of the Fairies.

YHA Lulworth Cove
Keen palaeontologists and geologists will feel at home in Dorset's YHA Lulworth Cove. This hostel is tucked away in the countryside, just a mile from Lulworth Cove – a famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The cove is one of the best examples of this type of land formation and has been termed as one of the seven natural wonders of England.

YHA Manorbier
YHA Manorbier's campsite is a level field close to both the car park and the hostel. The field is surrounded by trees, hedges, willows and even a wildlife meadow. The campsite is peaceful and serene with plenty of space for children to play. Staying here means the best of both worlds – a great outdoor experience with all the superb new hostel facilities.
Camping & Cabins
It's free to bring your pooch if you're pitching your own tent at one of our campsites. If you opt for one of our glamping options, there is a £10 charge per dog, per night (payable on arrival).

YHA Hawkshead
The Lake District just screams dog friendly. With plenty of outdoor space, book a glamping stay at YHA Hawkshead. From the hostel, walk to Low Loanthwaite and then through woodland, skirting around the top of Blelham Tarn and on to Wray Castle – a mock-Gothic castle on the shore of Windermere. Choose from bell tents, cabins, camping pods and tipis!

YHA Malham
Pick yourself a camping pod at YHA Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. Camping pods are heated, furnished and have electrical sockets so you can enjoy a cosy stay with all your creature comforts. Rambling options are many. Head north along the Pennine Way on the limestone cliffs of Malham Cove or go east through the woodlands to Gordale Scar.
YHA Okehampton
Visiting Dartmoor on a budget? Check out YHA Okehampton's woodland camping area with space for up to 20 tents – the ideal base for dog walkers exploring the local area and beyond. Out of activity hours, there’s a small campfire area for guests to sit around toasting marshmallows and sharing stories.

YHA Penzance
Escape to the Cornish coast and camp on the grounds of our gorgeous Georgian mansion, just 15 minutes from the town and seafront. Dog restrictions apply on the beach in high season, but don't be put off as the Southwest Coast Path leads to a remarkable number of pooch-friendly pubs and cafes in Marazion.

YHA Stratford-upon-Avon
Situated on the rural outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon and just 4 miles from the centre, YHA Stratford-upon-Avon is set in three acres of lovely grounds and offers luxury camping in the form of deluxe camping pods. Each pod has a kitchenette area with fridge, wet room with toilet and shower, and plenty of space for 4 people to sleep and relax.
