Every year we welcome a diverse range of uniform groups including Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Brigades and Cadets to join us for new experiences in the great outdoors.
Our group-friendly accommodation is located in prime spots throughout England and Wales so, whether you want activities led by YHA staff or a self-led break, we have a hostel, camping barn, campsite, or camping pod that’s handily placed for where you want to be.
Our experienced advisers are here to support you with every aspect of planning your visit, from risk assessments to organising funding. Our flexible approach means that we can provide just the right variety of activities, catered and self-catered options, and even hot chocolate before bedtime, for a break that’s perfectly tailored to your needs and delivered at the low prices group leaders can expect from YHA.

Serviced group stay
Groups of more than 15 people
Let YHA take care of your stay with our group booking service. You'll be allocated private bedrooms close together with all bedding. Upgrades are available for sole use of an area/floor or the entire place.
You'll have access to communal spaces such as dining areas. Staff will be on hand to serve meals and set up meeting rooms. Do your own thing with a self-led residential or try a package with meals and activities.
Exclusive Hire
Groups of all sizes
Hire the whole hostel, cottage or house at over 100 amazing locations. With YHA Exclusive Hire stays, you'll get the entire place to yourself with private access to bedrooms, self-catering kitchens, lounges and more.
The hostel won't be staffed so you'll need to organise your own catering and activities. Bedding and kitchen basics are provided.
