Overview
Thursday 10th October 2024
Distance: 2.5 or 5 miles (depending which option you choose)
Duration: 2 - 3.5 hours
Led by: Debbie North, Access the Dales
This accessible, 2-part walk from the hostel in the centre of Malham heads along a country lane and then a wide semi-surfaced path up to the foot of Gordale Scar, a towering limestone ravine. We return to the hostel before setting off for an optional second stage on a similar lane and track to the bottom of Malham Cove, a huge natural amphitheatre of 260ft high cliffs.
A mobile accessible toilet will be available at the hostel.
