Helmsley and Ryedale have an enviable reputation as a destination for foodies. The town’s market square is home to a wonderful selection of cafes, delicatessens, pubs and restaurants.
While within a few miles are two Michelin starred restaurants: the Star Inn at Harome and the Black Swan at Oldstead – the later was voted TripAdvisor's best fine dining restaurant in the world in 2017 and 2018.
