Tate Liverpool, the International Slavery Museum and Museum of Liverpool are about 10 minutes’ walk away, so there is plenty to do in this city of culture. Alternatively head south and you’ll stumble across fabulous bars such as the Camp and Furnace, Baltic Social and the Liverpool Gin Garden.

This hostel sits in the arty Baltic Triangle area, with convenient access to Liverpool Waterfront’s world-class attractions like The Beatles Story, the Albert Dock and the iconic Pier Head.
Most of our bedrooms are dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. We always try to allocate bedrooms close together and will never ask your group to share bedrooms with anyone not in your group.
Upgrades are available for sole use of an area, floor or the entire place.
YHA Liverpool Albert Dock offers plenty of space for groups to hang out and socialise, including a vibrant café bar area and a TV lounge. You'll find free Wi-Fi and a handy 24-hour reception at this hostel too.
With a meeting room equipped with projector, flip chart and stationery, schools and groups can study and relax in peace. There’s exceptional security for kids too – with a secure, fenced grass area around the hostel, CCTV and regular checks from our staff who are on duty all day, every day.
With tasty breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals, groups are sure to find something delicious to eat at YHA Liverpool Albert Dock (see sample menu).
Meal plans range from bed and breakfast up to full-board catering. Vegetarian options are available and we aim to cater for any special dietary requests.
Free parking is available on-site for guests and patrons. This car park is controlled by an ANPR parking system and has space for up to 20 cars including a Blue Badge parking space. Upon arrival, motorists are required to validate their presence by entering their car's registration number at reception.

Reception opening hours: 24 hours.
Food and drink: Breakfast is served to guests from 07:30 – 09:00 on weekdays and 07:30 – 10:00 at weekends. Meals are also available from 17:00 – 20:00.
Licensed bar: This hostel has a licensed bar offering a range of alcohol and soft drinks. It is not possible for guests to bring their own alcohol.
Self-catering: Guests have access to a self-catering kitchen.

YHA Liverpool Albert Dock was purpose built and opened in 1998 by the Duke of Edinburgh. The hostel is situated opposite a World UNESCO Heritage site, and is close to all that the city centre has to offer in terms of culture, shopping and nightlife.
Manager recommends: Anfield Stadium is a definite must when visiting Liverpool on a cheap city break. The city has amazing museums, full of history, music and culture which are well worth exploring. Believe it or not, Liverpool has lovely beaches for a day out, and with cheap accommodation in this friendly backpackers hostel, you've got everything you need for a great Liverpool weekend break.
