Just a short walk from the historic Albert Docks – part of Liverpool’s famous waterfront – YHA Liverpool Albert Dock is right at the heart of everything Liverpool has to offer. This hostel is ideal for anyone looking for a budget city break, with great transport links, a vibrant café bar area and a handy 24-hour reception.
Tate Liverpool, the International Slavery Museum and Museum of Liverpool are about 10 minutes’ walk away, so there is plenty to do in this city of culture. Alternatively head south and you’ll stumble across fabulous bars such as the Camp and Furnace, Baltic Social and the Liverpool Gin Garden.
Reception opening hours: 24 hours.
Food and drink: Breakfast is served to guests from 07:30 – 09:00 on weekdays and 07:30 – 10:00 at weekends. Meals are also available from 17:00 – 20:00.
Licensed bar: This hostel has a licensed bar offering a range of alcohol and soft drinks. It is not possible for guests to bring their own alcohol.
Self-catering: Guests have access to a self-catering kitchen.
Parking: Free parking is available on-site for guests and patrons. This car park is controlled by an ANPR parking system and has space for up to 20 cars including a Blue Badge parking space. Upon arrival, motorists are required to validate their presence by entering their car's registration number at reception.
WiFi: Free WiFi is available in shared social spaces.
Dogs: Pets are not permitted at YHA Liverpool Albert Dock. Assistance dogs are welcome - please notify us at the time of booking.

YHA Liverpool Albert Dock was purpose built and opened in 1998 by the Duke of Edinburgh. The hostel is situated opposite a World UNESCO Heritage site, and is close to all that the city centre has to offer in terms of culture, shopping and nightlife.
Manager recommends: Anfield Stadium is a definite must when visiting Liverpool on a cheap city break. The city has amazing museums, full of history, music and culture which are well worth exploring. Believe it or not, Liverpool has lovely beaches for a day out, and with cheap accommodation in this friendly backpackers hostel, you've got everything you need for a great Liverpool weekend break.
