Positioned at the heart of one of England's most beautiful national parks, YHA Okehampton provides guests with quality accommodation. This property is the perfect place for those looking for a wonderful rural retreat.

Where you'll sleep

Across the entire building there is a total of 16 bedrooms.

First floor

Two en-suite rooms that sleep up to 2 people each. They include a set of bunk beds.

One room that sleeps up to 4 people. It includes 2 sets of bunk beds.

Four en-suite rooms that sleep up to 4 people each. They include 2 sets of bunk beds.

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 5 people. It includes a single high-sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath and a set of bunk beds.

Eight rooms that sleep up to 8 people each. They include 4 sets of bunk beds.

A cot is available.

Shared spaces

Kitchen and dining

The small kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: freezer, grill, 2 kettles, microwave, mini fridge, oven, refrigerator, toaster.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the spacious dining room seats up to 60 people.

Highchairs are available on request.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 30 people. There are 2 comfy sofas, 2 armchairs and a large table with seating. You can relax in front of the flat screen TV after a long day on the moors.

There is a separate games room with a pool table.

Across the entire building there is a total of 13 bathrooms.

Toilet paper is provided and hand soap is available next to all sinks.

Outdoors

Outside consists of some grounds.

Guests have full access to the grounds, except the restricted activity areas for archery, climbing and low ropes (these are clearly signposted).

Dogs: Hire YHA Okehampton and bring your dogs! Add a dog to your booking at the checkout and bring your four-legged friend along with you. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms, on the furniture, or in the kitchen, and must be kept on a lead in the grounds.
Checking in: You will receive an email prior to your arrival with the property address and check-in instructions.
