Deep in the beautiful mountain scenery of North Wales, YHA Snowdon Llanberis is located on the doorstep of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, just a 10-minute walk from Llanberis High Street.
From the hostel you can walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) or catch a train from the village up to the top of the mountain. Alternatively, why not explore the waterfalls, forests and valleys of the National Park? You can also discover the history of the region at nearby attractions including Electric Mountain and the National Slate Museum as well as Llanberis village itself.

Get active and adventurous in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park with a stay at YHA Snowdon Llanberis. This cosy base is ideal for groups with a picturesque location surrounded by fields, mountains and the odd sheep or two.
YHA Snowdon Llanberis is perfect for walkers. You can take the trail up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) or head to the waterfalls, forests and valleys of the National Park. There’s even pony trekking and abseiling nearby, if you’re looking to really turn on the adrenaline. But we’re not just about activities – groups can explore attractions like Electric Mountain, the National Slate Museum or Llanberis village itself.

Most of our bedrooms are dormitory style rooms with bunk beds. We always try to allocate bedrooms close together and will never ask your group to share bedrooms with anyone not in your group.
Upgrades are available for sole use of an area, floor or the entire place.
Shared spaces
Within the hostel, our private meeting room is a great space for studying or planning your next route and you can access free Wi-Fi in our social areas too. If you need refreshing after your day in the mountains, our fully licensed bar offers local beers.
Group catering
With tasty breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals, groups are sure to find something delicious to eat at YHA Snowdon Llanberis (see sample menu).
Meal plans range from bed and breakfast up to full-board catering. Vegetarian options are available and we aim to cater for any special dietary requests.

Reception opening hours: From 07:30 - 10:00 and 17:00 - 22:00.
Food and drink: Breakfast is served to guests daily from 07:30 – 09:00.
Licensed bar: This hostel has a licensed bar offering a range of alcohol and soft drinks. It is not possible for guests to bring their own alcohol, except when hiring the whole hostel through YHA Exclusive Hire.
Self-catering: Guests have access to a self-catering kitchen.
Parking: There is parking at the hostel for 15 cars.
