About Louise

Louise joined the YHA executive team as our new Executive Director of Resources and Transformation in June 2024 assuming strategic responsibility for our finance, technology, property and transformation functions - all essential enablers for achieving our ambitious strategy and extending YHA's impact in communities across England and Wales.

Shaped by a lifelong love of travel, walking and adventure, Louise understands and is enthused by the transformative power of the YHA experience on individuals and wider society. Her 30-year senior executive career has been defined by a commitment to driving positive social impact through periods of change and challenge for complex enterprises in the housing, care, hospitality and career support sectors. As a qualified Chartered Accountant and accomplished organisational leader, she has delivered lasting results across both operational and corporate arenas and repeatedly turned around performance and rebuilt resilience in mission-driven organisations. Working creatively and collaboratively with the executive, colleagues and wider stakeholders to deliver improved outcomes, Louise and her team will ensure we make best use of our limited resources and maximise our impact as we continue our journey to recovery.
