Moorside Mills, an original spinning mill is alive with magnificent machinary which once converted raw wool into the world's Worsted cloth. Depending on the day, you can marvel at the machinery whirring in Motive power – demonstrating what made the mill run, visit a working blacksmith, or talk to the Printing or Weaving Volunteers. The museum is free general admission but there is a small charge for the range of educational workshops which are available.
