YHA Kettlewell was built in 1917 as a guest house and has been home to a bakery, cafe, village shop, post office as well as being taken into the YHA family in the 1940s.
The hostel was sold in 2015 and since has gone from strength to strength as an independent hostel (though still very much part of the YHA) ever since!
YHA Kettlewell has operated as an independent hostel since 2015 and was bought from YHA in the same year.
We have been working ever since to make this the best hostel in the country! We believe that by providing really good food and a nice welcome in a clean, friendly and interesting environment that people will have a nice time, and feel that they can come back time and again.
