Climbing in Buttermere
Overview
There are fantastic multi pitch climbs on the quick drying Grey Crag to suit all abilities. Alternatively, check out the classic combination of Harrow Buttress, Chockstone Ridge and Oxford and Cambridge Climb direct. For something more challenging try the Philistine on High Crag. Chapel Crags on the side of High Stile is an ideal winter climbing venue, easily approached from Buttermere with plenty of low and mid grade lines.
